Couldn't make it up if I tried:

You know, our Founding Fathers, they put that Second Amendment in there for a good reason and that was for the people to protect themselves against a tyrannical government. And in fact Thomas Jefferson said it's good for a country to have a revolution every 20 years.

I hope that's not where we're going, but, you know, if this Congress keeps going the way it is, people are really looking toward those Second Amendment remedies and saying my goodness what can we do to turn this country around? I'll tell you the first thing we need to do is take Harry Reid out.

Obviously, if you were to think that suggesting 'take Harry Reid out' directly after mentioning an armed insurrection isn't just a poor choice of words, you'd be a STOOPID LIBRUHL.

WaPo gives some background:

Also, the larger context is key: TPM reports this morning that Angle was a member of the far-right Independent American Party, a pro-gun, states-rights party that warns against the threat of global government.

Additional giggles:

“I would tell you that I have the same feelings about legalizing marijuana, not medical marijuana, but just legalizing marijuana,” Angle offered. “I feel the same about legalizing alcohol.

“The effect on society is so great that I’m just not a real proponent of legalizing any drug or encouraging any drug abuse,”

Nevada has a large Mormon population, and there is still a strong Temperance movement in this country.

As for the first quote, She is right.  That is the reason they wanted the citizens armed.  To protect against a corrupt and tyrannical government.  Whether we have one or not (or as she put it congress continues down its current path) is a matter of opinion.  IN hers, it is a possibility given the current congress.

I see the WaPo grasping at straws to discredit her.  But then neither of us has a lot of say in the matter since we are not in Nevada.  If the MSM continues down this path, they are going to look more hysterical than Howard Dean.  And more dangerous (to the center) than Alvin Greene.
