But in this dysfunctional right wing political climate, there are never any consequences for lying or promoting false outrages. They simply ignore the inevitable debunking, then move right on to the next phony story, as if they were never caught hyperventilating over nothing. Then they refer back to the phony story endlessly, as if it were never proven false.

Which about sums it up. Look, I'm not convinced the GOP has a single candidate in their clown-car-of-fail list of Presidential Candidates that can beat Obama. I don't even think they're working on putting one together. Yeah, I'm sure the tea party is planning their candidate but let's be honest:

1. Any candidate beholden enough to the Tea Party to get a presidential nod will be a laugh.

2. The Tea Party is a short lived mess. Their hard core constituents will move on as soon as the next season of WWF wrestling starts. The 'moderates' will be gone as soon as the energy is gone.

The thing is, there are plenty of legitimate criticisms of Obama, it's just that the GOP is focusing on the trivial non-issues like ZOMG ILLEGULZ. Predictably, they'll also take the bait on the DADT thing and prove to moderates yet again that they're the party of wanton hysterics. Pointless expenditure of political energy doesn't result in a GOP win, folks.

First, I agree the Tea Party is going to be short lived. It will drag the republicans back to the right, and disappear when Obama is gone.

Second, LGF is not a conservative outfit. But it is a good place to find out things the MSM will not talk about, So their opinion is about as valid as Matthews. Take it with a grain of salt.

Third, I do not want Obama impeached. As much as I dislike him, the alternative is Biden, and criminal is better than stupid. SO while nothing will come of this crime that Obama is perpetrating, it is legitimate. To ignore it is to condone it and that cannot be done. At least the impeachment will send the message (how weak we can debate) that you cannot abuse the office of President.

So what if they're not a conservative outfit? They're still nuts on with this one. If Hot Air said it, it'd still be true.
